I followed all the links on ferret bite/attacks and it seems like most of
them involved very young babies from a few weeks old to a few months old.
It was brought up in at least 2 articles that maybe it was because of the
milk smell. I have a theory based on something that happened in my house
many years ago. I had a little female who did bite a few visitors over
the years but was NOT a problem biter. One day a friends crawling-age
baby was on the floor and Tinker grabbed him by the upper thigh (did NOT
break the skin) and was trying her darndest to drag him backwards into
her hidey-hole behind the couch. I've had ferrets try to drag ME into
their hidey hole.

Imagine a baby grabbing a fistful and squeezing--also maybe the reason
most of the bites were around the face is they were trying to put the
ferret where babies put everything--in their mouths. Just my 2 cents
worth...

Now, on Kat Parson's e-Bay afghan. I am the lucky owner of her last e-bay
afghan and i want to tell you pictures don't even do them justice. i am
so impressed i have commissioned a second afghan. The first is draped on
a chair and all 6 inside animals fight over who gets to lay on it.
Something about yarn, they love.

Best to all,
Dori
