We joined the FML in December.  I enjoy a lot reading the postings,
especially the ones on behaviour, training, health and funny anecdotes.  We
wish to THANK B. Gruber (We are amazed by your discipline and the size of
the FML) and the vets: Drs.  Williams, Dutton and Karen.
 
We got our first ferret, an over 4 years old female, from the Ottawa Ferret
Association in July 1993.  We now have 6 ferrets (all adopted from the OFA).
We got our last ones (Snoreau & Boum Boum) in December 95: we volunteered to
foster those males but they had been our home for less than an hour when
Marc decided we had to adopt them.  Our smallest ferret (Pepe) was not too
thrilled: she sometimes sleeps with them during the day but does not play
with them: she screams when they approach her.  Our condo is permanently
divided in two by a board since two females (Mukluk & Sanka) are extremely
aggressive toward the others.  They do not even accept their sister (Presto)
which was separated from them for several months.  From time to time, when
one ferret, usually Pepe, scratch at the base of the board, we go searching
for snoozing ferrets to switch them to the other half of the condo.
