I am sure that there are some rescues in the UK.  A friend from England
had recently given me an article on one (wish I knew where I left it).
Use the web, if you are not successful, let me know and I will try to
locate some information for you.
 
I believe there is a website UKferrets that may be of use, they sell
ferret related items, and probably know shelters or people that may be
of use.
 
There is also or used to be an english ferret magazine which may be
another source.  Good Luck.
