Hey Sam! If you see or hear this, drop me a line.

I am just proofing the rest of the Diet 101 stuff and will start the
finishing up operations shortly. My days have been a little crazed these
last few days because of stuff on the home front. I think I mentioned
Andrew decided to take the shortest trip possible off a small cliff, hurting
his bike and himself in the process. He is fine and has a brand new tooth
to prove it, but extremely embarrassed, as he should be. With three of four
kids gone, there was no reason for having such a large place, so now I am in
a much smaller place filled with lots of boxes, which the ferrets have
discovered is a great playground. I have a new, unpublished phone number,
and if anyone needs it, email me and I will give it to you. Ann has been
getting harrassing phone calls of late; someone calls and hangs up on
answering, but the phone company has traced two of the calls to the same
number, and as soon as she gets a third, she will sic the police on them.
Isn't *57 grand? Only $10 to find out who is using *67 to harrass you, and
on strike 3, the police are called.

All the ferrets were sick, are sick, or are getting sick. Some sort of an
upper respiratory thing, with coughing, sneezing, wheezing, and a little dry
heaving. It seems to be spreading like a cold or flu virus, and seems to be
lasting 4-6 days. I was very worried about Foster and the sickies, but they
seem to be getting through it all right. They love their new room, and are
almost used to their new cage, custom built by moi.

Tui's growth is only exceeded by the amount of poop he is dropping. He's a
real player, and loves to play bite. I almost have him trained to not bite
hard, and he now knows what "No!" means, but for some silly reason, he has
earned the nickname of "Chewi Tui." Talk about a beautiful boy, and he is
going to be as large as Carbone or larger. He reminds me of a puppy, with
huge paws and bright eyes. Smart as a whip, knows exactly what to do to get
something he is supposed to stay out of. LOVES carefully emptying the water
dish by hand after he has swam in it. He and Carbone are huge monkeys and
best buds.

Foster was hit hard by the "Sickness of '98," he is very weak, but eating
and drinking on his own. So far, it doesn't seen like anyone will have more
than a few days discomfort, but everyone who has had it is pretty weak for a
half-dozen days or so.
