I can't imagine a ferret being bothered with a hedgehog apart from curiosity!
 
We have some wild beasties that eat hedgehogs in the UK (apart from other
hedgehogs!) and the main culprit are badgers although foxes will have a go
if desperate for food or it's a young hog.My JRT is a keen "hedgehog hound"
unfortunately, and has killed them before but it's a struggle and he's a lot
bigger than a ferret!
 
I would think you'd have to keep a close eye on proceedings though just in
case the ferts pester the hog too much!
