I know there was a lengthy discussion on this about a year ago, but I'd
like to revisit it. My 4 year old silver mitt, Rascal, loves to roll in
ashtrays (only dirty ones). He revels in it, he rolls and squirms and
takes such pleasure in making a mess of the floor and himself. He rubs
his head and neck in it mostly.

Last time this was posted someone suggested earmites. At the time it was a
good possibility, however he has been treated for earmites and determined
mite free by a vet. But he is still having a great time for himself in
the ashtray. He's always been an odd duck, but personally I just don't
see the appeal of rolling in an ashtray.
