Okay, it's official!  At least, for the most part.  I have been diagnosed as
having something wrong with my ears having to do with the eustachian tubes
and perhaps a middle ear infection.  In other words-- no ear mites!!!
 
From what I have learned, I probably have no way of getting them, at least
as long as I'm not rubbing ears with Pepita. :o)  It's just really ironic
that we both have ear problems at the same time (me, I'd rather have an ear
infection than little bugs running around in my ears any day!).
 
I hope this helps anyone else who has suddenly been paranoid and thought
they felt the footfall of 100 little bugs in their ears...
