Well, I'm relieved, to a point. My kids all have ear mites! I think this
is why Socks has thin hair-I looked and the top of his head is a little
thin, but other than that, no other hair loss.

However, Dr. Thompson wants me to bring him in to have CBC, chem panel,
urinalysis, fasting glucose, and a chest radiograph - he's concerned that
Socks' heart beat is muffled. He said he can hear it, but not clearly. So
after I take the 11 in to have them all weighed etc. for the medicine he's
going to give them all for the ear mites, Socks will go in for the tests.
We're hoping next Saturday to get the other 11 in to be treated under the
blanket 'litter' charge they have. They'll be giving me a medicine I apply
to the skin for the ear mites, rather than the Tressaderm that I have till
the others are checked. I don't even know how they got these mites-the
fuzzie and the cats never go out and I keep the ferrets ears clean. Oh
well, just another thing to make my hair go grayer than it is.

Now, everybody keep good thoughts for me-I have to go up, clean 13 sets of
fuzzie ears, apply the medicine, then capture the cats and do this to them.
Think there'll be a doctor nearby after I'm abused by the animals?
