I have 2 deaf ferrets...maybe 3...[we do not know for sure if Charlie lost
his hearing with this inner ear infection...]
 
Sandi-Mandi came from Ferrets Unlimited Ferret Shelter...she bit to get
down...so i was told...:)...but she does not do that at all any more...
she is the sweetest, funniest thing around!!!!...but deaf...:)
 
Eddie is deaf...i knew he was when i bought him...and is absolutely NO
problem!!!...sweet, cuddley, funny!!!!...he learned quickly not to bite...
and is one that gets along with all the other ferrets...loves people...an
altogether wonderful ferret!!!!
 
so...no deaf problems here...:)
 
and i am really sorry some people are having problems with their deaf
babies....i have not had an emergency where i had to gather ferrets up
and could not get the deaf ones because they could not hear me...i hope
i don't ever have that problem...but i will find them if i do...i don't
think i could give up till i did...howere stupid that might be...:)
