Well, i'm back from boston. Sorry, Ronnie, that i didnt get to meet you -
but i loved your ferrets! Ralph and Harry, right? Ralph IS Noodle's
long-lost twin brother. Bill and Rudy - thanks billions for helping me get
through my otherwise ferret-less trip. I was going through definite
withdrawal.

Re belatedly: closets. In my current place, the closet was about 10'x6', so
we kept Noodle and Friday's cage in there. Perfect. I put up an altered
ferret-proof baby gate across the closet door, and they had a romper room.
Nothing wrong with closets, and it certainly beat caging them at night.
Potpie's cage used to reside in my bedroom closet, which was much smaller,
but the door was continually open and light was always available. Unless
you mind your clothes smelling like ferret, or not having room for your
clothes at all, closets are a great way to keep floorspace clear.

To Linda's Belle: Potpie is also an agile and successful shoulder-ferret
who'll ride for any distance, although she's also not scared of falling
(and trusts me to catch her when she starts to slide down my back) and
will jump when she sees something interesting.

 Melissa, back with the nits
