To Terence, who asked about the short little "T" sound his ferret makes:
 
Sounds to me like one of the 2 hiss-like sounds that ferrets make. (It could
also be described as "kih kih kh" perhaps?)  It is usually done during the
"dance of joy"/"war dance" that ferrets do, and seems to mean they want to
play-fight or are simply playing.  [The other hiss is more like "shhhhhhht!"
and seems to mean "stop that."]
 
If you're worried, ask your vet to check him out when you get the 12 wk.
distemper vaccination - I think it sounds fairly normal.  BTW, I posted the
exact same question a bit over a year ago, when my Rocko was just a little
kit. How quickly they grow. :)  Get baby pics now - you won't believe the
size difference in a year.
