i had to face the very same question last august one of my 1st ferrets
who i adopted at 5.5 years had both insulinoma and adrenal she was on
both pred and luopron. she lived almost another year before it wore
her down she passed away at 8 years of age. up in till the end she lived
a happy and loved life. untill the end she was able to get around well.

just because a ferret is getting older or ill doesnt mean they cant lead
a full life as long as the ferret can eat and get around they can be
happy. they will show you when its time to help them cross. utill then
love them.
