Hi all, I am in Prescott AZ, and the local Humane society has a ferret,
male, sable, very friendly (not sure on the age), have had him fostered
for just over a week, I think they said. He has been seen by a vet, has
all his shots, and is a Marshal Farms ( has the tatoo) If anyone knows of
one lost in this area, contact me off list.

I am going to adopt him, but am scrambling to get all I need. I have a
cage, but what is best to use on the bottom (it has a raised bottom with
a slide out drawer for mess removal) I just read the posts on Maximum
Nutrition, so I am going to pick some of that up. I have some stuff
coming from the ferret store, and some ebay auctions, but not for a
couple of days. I have been recommended the wood stove pellets for
litter, but what would be okay just for "on the floor" of the cage?
