The 2001 National Ferret Fair will take place on Sunday 15th July at
"Stoke in Steam", Trubshaw Cross Playing Fields, Westport Road, Burslem,
Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
 
Sign posted from A500.
 
(Entry to the show ground is #4 children under 14 free when accompanied by
an adult paying full price.  Senior citizens & under 14's #2.00 The steam
rally is organised by The Lions Club of Stoke-on-Trent and all profit will
be donated to various charities, the main one this year being a Hospice
for Children that is being built in Stoke-on-Trent).
 
Entries taken from 10am until noon.
Judging starts at 11.30am
Classes: Hobs:  Albino; Polecat; Sandy; Coloured; Veteran
         Jills: Albino; Polecat; Sandy; Coloured; Veteran
Hobs & Jills:   Disabled/Personality; Working Pair
  also  Ferret Racing
 
Entry fees 50 pence per class.  Ferret Racing free
 
A ferret crhche will be available to give owners a chance to look round
the show - there is no charge for this service.
 
The organisers have agreed to allow exhibitors to use a car park that is
a 100 yards away from the ferret tent.  The help the car park stewards
please stick a sign in your car windscreen stating that you are:-
"Ferret Show Exhibitor".
 
Parking will be reserved until mid-day after that you will probably have
to use the car park for Westport Lake.
