Well dammit, that means I have to trash my 143 line post about what is
REAL as far as religion goes. ;-)

I guess I find this discussion kind of silly. For literally years
folks have been posting as some kind of passed on, gone, deceased, etc
ferret welcoming others to the afterlife. Now, if you look at religion
(man-made it is) and do away with terms, you can find the same principles
involved. Labels get in the way.

The only real problem I have ever had with these kind of posts is that
some of those who have created these obviously allow the all too
prevelant gossip in the ferret world to affect who they actually post
about. I mean, I have seen posts of deceased ferrets NEVER get
acknowledged because of gossip. Frankly, I have found this to be
rather mean spirited.

If you do this type of thing, then please acknowledge all ferrets, to not
do so is really slapping a hurting human being in the face.

And as I go in spurts reading the fml, pray tell me what the hell were
the witchcraft references? I sure did miss those.

blessings,
Margie, you know the intolerant one who is buddhist and has a very
catholic best friend. heehee.

[Moderator's note: I know the identities of the greeters and I really
don't think they are swayed by gossip and such, although I do know they
will not acknowledge ferrets unless specifically asked to do so. Could
that have caused confusion? BIG]
