I adopted an approximately 7 year old ferret today from the local
shelter. X-rays done on her Friday (I was the one who took them) were
inconclusive as far as tumors go. I'm taking her to my work on Monday
to get some better x-rays done.

On to the advice I really need. Luckily for me, she took right to the
ferret kibble I offered her. But she eats it one kibble at a time and
sucks on the kibble for a little bit first. I would like some recipes
of some foods for older ferts that you have found are very palatable.

Right now I have her isolated from my other ferret who is almost 2. He
was adorable earlier, he knows there's another ferret in the house and
is restless in his cage. He hasn't seen a ferret since I got him.

Anyway, could you guys just send me any advice as far as caring for
older ferrets? Thanks everyone!!
