hi everyone!
it is meagan here with her little babies still may or maynot have the
greenies.

jsut wanted to say thank you thank you thank you for all the info i got
involving ECE and other problems! i still am not sure exactly if they
have ECE or not but they are going to the vet today.

fezzik, the first to get the green diarrhea, has moved on up to
lightbrownyellow poops. a littl emore solid. he is still hiding and eating
food. he likes the pedialyte th eleast but does enjoy the moistened food
with it. currently they are back to their normal mix of food (iams) and
there hasn't been any noticable improvement on them. as for dehydration, i
think they are getting tired of my checking but thanks to everyone out there
and my vet, i not know who to check them and to get them to a vet ASAP!

the little girl i have got the green poops and later the diarrhea on sun
afternoon..and then nico, my oldest man started in with it. so far,
cartman/fagabeefee hasn't even noticed a thing. he is still pooping away!

they are going to the vet tomorrow if they havne't improved significantly.
i was hoping that it was stress the way many suggested but i fear now that
it isn't. this has gone on for too long and esp. in fezzik. i don't think
it is stress any more (esp since he is the most laid back ferret i know!!)

so i am leaning toward a virus of some kind...jsut don't know what. many
say that they think it isn't the greenies. i hope not we will see!

so thank you thank you thank you for your advice!

another thing that this experience is teaching me....i have a pretty darn
good vet!

i started taking them to see dr. wilson after i realized the vet nearby
knew the basics of ferret care, not everything. and as we all know, us
parents aren't settling for mediocre! so i found his name on the star list
of vets and tried it out. he has been great and right on target with
everything i ask. but this is our first true medical experience...and he
has given perfect answers everytime!

i quizzed him a bit on ferret care and then went into ECE calling it hte
"greenies". he said " now what makes you think it is ECE" this to me was a
grand old plus b/c he knew what i was talking about!! then, as we wnet on,
methods and opinions came out and he turns out to be very knowledgable..
(that is if i can compare him to the 'FML' as a whole...he is in agreement
wiht most of the treatment thoughts seen here)

anyway, that is all for now.
i thank all of you. you all definately helped save thier lives!!

much appreciative,
meg (breathing a slight sigh of relief)
keera (ewww...my BF gave me the STD of ferretworld)
fezzik (sloppy whiskers....fun fun fun!)
nico (it is such a bother to deal with these youngins' whining...when
      will they ever shut up???)
fagabeefee (neener neener neener...mommy loves me more and she gave you
            green poops!! neener neeneer neener!)
