Hi Everyone:

The Ferret Aid Society has received the results of Bandit's biopsy from Dr.
Williams.

Briefly, Dr. Williams says we are dealing with a rare form of lymphosarcoma
which occurs in the skin. Dr. Williams has only seen 4 cases of this,
including Bandit. This type of lymphosarcoma does not metastasize very
quickly, but in Bandits case it appears the disease has progress too far to
consider surgical removal.

Dr. Williams has recommended we place Bandit on topical and oral steriods.
To read Dr. Williams letter in its' entirety please go to

On a more personal note this news is very sad. Had Bandits owner provided
him with the proper care early on, he would have gone on to live for many
years to come.

Take care,
Cindy
