This Susie Lee-Hurley for myself and Wes Hurley at the elderlies and
hospice-"wing" of the Pensacola Ferret Rescue in Northwest Florida. We
want to extend heartfelt thanks for all the incredibly beautiful and kind
sympathies from all the "FML"-ers who sent us e-cards and sympathies for
good old Smokey Joe Oldster.

And also to wish every living being a peaceful and healthy and joyful set
of Holidays. May every day be all these things for each of you and for
each fur-person.

On another up-note, LittleOne Wandra, a 4-to-5 year-old who had
been rescued along with five others by a dear Rescuer in the
Niceville-Crestview area in Florida, and who picked out exactly the
family she wanted for Christmas, went home with them and has just been
reported to be in absolute ferretty bliss at having an entire house
plus agreeable cats and even her own chihuahua to boss around and No
other ferrets, which was eactly what she wanted! LittleOne Wandra had
a very potty and shrewish tongue around other ferrets and preferred to
have her own quarters, her own room, and (now) her OWN entire house and
her own other-critters to nose into line any way she likes, and her Own
people! :)

We're so very happy that Wandra has everything she ever wanted! And her
somewhat mesmerized but happy new family are ecstatic to have her little
blacksable self make their Home hers, entirely.

I love happy endings, don't you? :)
