Some ferrets have pink noses, some have brown/black noses, and some have a
speckled or patchy combination.  I haven't seen the nose fungus someone
mentioned a while ago, but I'd guess it's slightly rough or scaly.  A smooth
brown-and-pink nose is normal, especially for a sable or darker ferret.
