Out of curiosity....just what type of response were you expecting?
Just have your car wash and send the proceeds to Rocky's.  Send (or
take yourself) the cages you are offering.  No one needs to approve
your fund raising activities.  I'm sure you'll be thanked after you
have done these things.  That's how most of us did it.
