Loved your little joke about the kookaburras.  Biss actually did come
back some hours later and retrieved her chick from the shrub, so I
consider her act a very clever one indeed.
 
I do hope you can make it to the symposium and I will bring some Vegemite
just in case there has been a run on it and the stores have none!
 
BIG, when my son was dating a young lady from Millwaukie, she said that
Vegemite tasted overwhelmingly of yeast and was horrid.  That's not how
it tastes to we who have been brought up on it. :-)
 
Todd, of course ferrets have good taste!  Why, only last night I came
home from work to find the contents of the 4 kibble bowls very tastefully
arranged all over the house.  They'd even managed to add an extra
dimension to their art work by including about 1/2 ton of sand from
their tunnels in the front and back yards.  Well, maybe there wasn't
quite 1/2 ton.
