I was reading Wolfy's new page on deaf ferrets and just had to tell
everyone about this little deaf girl that I met at the Columbus Show last
year.

I don't remember who had this little albino girl it was either Linda Iroff
or Julie Fossa. I think it was Julie, but not positive.

Anyway this little girl was quite the biter, did I let the warnings stop me
from picking her up? Of course not, don't be so silly. As she was taking
quite a fondness for chewing my hands to shreds. I held her up close to my
face and was shaking my head no. Then I swayed my bloody index finger in
front of her mouthing the word no no. What does this little girl do???

Well of course I was saying things she didn't want to hear, so she showed
me. She shut her eyes. Thus saying I can't hear you.....

It was too funny...

BTW I was afraid to adopt her, because I was worried that I wouldn't be
able to meet her needs. Now let me add that since then I have figured
out that I have two deaf boys. I wish I would have taken her.
