I have a little BEW boy "Casper" whom I adopted from another owner moving
out of the country. Casper has never had much fur on his tail, and at
first a attibuted this to the fact that he was kept indoors, and in a
fairly warm house. Recently, I have noticed that the end of this tail is
beginning to swell. It now appears as if he has a little swollen barb on
the end of his tail. This is even more pronouced due to his lack of fur
in this area. Has anyone seen this before, or know what this might be?
I would appreciate any info as it is really concerning me. I have an
appointment with a vet this weekend, but any info in the meantime, or some
suggestions I might be able to bring to the vet would be most helpful.

Thanks!

Edmund
