hi i dont know if you remember me, over the past year ive adopted four
ferrets, all under a year old right now. they are really very good, no
problems with them that i can complain of. lets see, a few weeks ago i
moved into a new apartment building, really nice with new carpets. i
bought those plastic hall runners and cut them up, putting them under the
litter pans. they are not very good at making the box, so i thought that
having that plastic there would be a good thing to keep urine out of the
carpet. but they like to dig under the plastic, and then poop there. not
really sure what to do here, i cant be here all the time to chase after
them and put them in the box to go poop when they start to back up. also,
they will be doing fine in the box for a while, then all the sudden there
it is outside of the box, next to it. not really sure why, i clean them
like twice a day. i really want to get that new crystal litter stuff but
im not gonna pay that much if they arent even gonna use it! also one
quick other question, i got elizabeth about a month ago, bottle fed her,
now she is doing just fine and really really active. she is awesome, only
problem is she jumps everywhere, the other day she jumped from my fiances
back to the fishtank, hit it, and slid down. i worry that she may hurt
herself but she doesnt seem to be phazed by the constant falling. alot of
times she runs backwards off the bed, falls, and gets right back on. none
of the others do this!! should i try to stop this, or is this just one
really overactive ferret? she doesnt really sleep alot either, and usally
sleeps alone. anyway enough questions for now. thank you in advance.
