Dear X: About 5-10% of ferrets on any form of amoxicillin will experience
partial or total lack of appetite.  In such cases, a switch to Baytril
usually resolves the situation.  If nausea is still there, then I would
start looking at other possibilities, such as an ulcer, blockage, etc.
