A serious conversation my husband and I were having randomly took a silly
turn when he said something hypothetical about the ferrets getting jobs--
it made us wonder what they would do for a living, and then I thought it
would be a fun thread for the FML. So, if your ferret had a job or a
profession, what would it be?

Pan, I decided, would be an astronaut, because you have to be smart to
understand all those knobs and dials and be brave enough to venture
into the unknown. Plus he would look so darn cute in a little astronaut
suit :)

Seti I think would be a stuntman or maybe a fighter pilot, something very
adrenaline inducing no doubt!

Is that my business? Well, what is my business? Do I know? Did I ever
know? Let s not go into that. You re not human tonight, Marlowe. Maybe
I never was or ever will be... Maybe we all get like this in the cold
half-lit world where always the wrong thing happens and never the right.
