Well, sort of....
The kind folks at Hard Rock Cafe - Boston have expedited a Hard Rock Denim
Jacket and T shirt to the chinese auction portion of the fund raiser for
Ferret Wise Shelter '97 Friends Walk.  The event is scheduled at Wheelock
Park ( pavilion) in Keene, NH.
 
(A beautiful walk over paved bike paths and natural landscape, exiting along
the natural path trails of the Ashuelot River Park!  A wonderful walk to
remember!)
 
The great Hard Rock items will join numerous others such as: autographed
books by Deborah Jeans and Judith Bell, DVM; ferret theme art works; ferret
food and care items; jewelry, pottery; gift certificates galore and much
more which is mounting as the date June 21st approaches!
 
For those who wish to enter the walk a thon event-- forms are available upon
request from Ferret Wise Shelter.  There is NO registration fee.
Commemorative Walk buttons will be presented to those entered registrants
raising $60 or more.  Registration begins at 9Am.  Walk follows at 10AM
 
A $2 donation to the event for non participants is appreciated.  Top
Fundraiser (first place) will receive a hand crafted trophy placque by wood
craftsman and artist Jim & Jeanne Stadtmiller of NY, & Sony CD walkman.
 
Second Place winner will receive a savings bond, framed certificate and
ribbon.
 
Third & Fourth place winners will receive ribbons and framed certificates.
 
Door prizes.  ( PROXY ENTRANTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR top fundraiser and door
prizes!  Entries must be received by June 12th).  Special commemorative
publication for entrants.  Refreshments for registered entrants.
 
Local veterinary participants helping the shelter event are:
Ask the Vet - 10-12 noon Dr. Lisa Anderson of Merrimack Veterinary Hospital.
Micro chip Clinic - 12 noon- 2 PM Dr. Donna Harwood of Veterinary Housecall
Services.
 
Other Ferret Organizations participating are: FFUNY, FACT, Ferret Services
of Freedom, Ferret Wise Shelter, X-tasy Ferrets, Etc.  There should be a
wide variety of goodies for those looking for something special.  Education
materials will be available for prospective ferret folks!

Donations to the auction are still being accepted.  Items received by May
30th all donors - will be listed on the commemorative publication (Copies
will be mailed with a summary in appreciation of your suppport)!

Ferret Wise continue the education and shelter programs!  See you there!!
