In NJ the best I know -- and who we use -- are in Belle Mead which is
kind of near Princeton but more not so expensive. They are Joe Martins
and Kim Somjen:

That is based on over 30 years of ferrets in the family and having
worked on a number of veterinary things (helping university vets
with research projects and more). Those two vets know a lot but are
constantly learning, too. They realize that medicine constantly
improves so they don't sit on their laurels.

Using the FHL addy in my sig lines the person can find the FHL list of
vets by going to the Files section of that website.
