     There are a whole lot of things to cover and of course a question :-)
 
     First I want to send my heartfelt condolences to all who have lost a loved
     one recently. To Troy Lynn and Vixen, to Tracy-Lee and Tabatha, and to Amy
     and Dave and Ian, and all others not mentioned. I can't begin to express my
     sorrow for you. I shed many a tear for all of you over these past few days.
     Just remember that your babies no longer feel pain only our hearts do. I'm
     sorry.
 
     Tracy-Lee and Oliver:
     I have no words of wisdom, but I do feel for you and understand how you
     wish you could make life perfect for Ollie. I hope you find a solution,
     let us know. But remember a warm, loving environment goes a long way in
     making life wonderful, and maybe that's all you can do or all that he'll
     need.
 
     Russ and Cage-Building:
     I too could not find a cage that satisfied my needs, so I built one (or
     rather my husband built it). We purchased everything (vinyl-covered wire
     mesh, clips, door holders and edge covers) from a company called
     Valentine's, their number is (312) 650-9050. The only problem with the wire
     is that you have to buy it in very large quantities and you will likely
     have alot left over, like we did ... anyone in the market for black wire
     mesh :-). They have all sorts of cage-building materials...even some things
     you may not have thought of. Good luck.
 
     James and Nibbles:
     I know that your nail-clipping adventure was rough...but it was SOOOOO
     funny. I can just imagine a little ferret belly all covered with ferretone
     ...ROTFL.
 
     Heather and Dry Feet:
     I have one ferret (an older one) with dry pads. I just put a little
     Vaseline on them when she's sleeping, 2-3 times per week. If you put it on
     while she's awake it will get on your floor or licked off. Since I've done
     this her feet are soft and smooth. Hope it works for you.
 
     Rainbow  Bridge:
     If anyone has this, I would be very interesting in getting a copy. Mention
     is made of it often and seems to be appropriate many times. Thanks is
     advance.

     Thanks for being there to answer questions and comfort worried minds.
 
     Question:
     My Nancy got very sick over the holidays and knocekd on Death's door
     twice. She's doing much better now, although she still isn't playing with
     the other ferrets. She's eating fine...but not solid food. I can't get her
     to eat anything that requires chewing (except raisins and that for the
     first time yesterday). She's eating her food ground up to powder mixed
     with water, baby food and A/D. Any suggestions to get her to start eating
     her dry food? She eats only twice a day about 20-30cc of the above mix and
     has plenty of dry food present at all times (she lives with 3 other
     ferrets). She loves ferretone but even that won't entice her to eat
     anything even semi-solid. Any advice or experiences that others could
     share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
