I've finally figured it out.  Lil Casper is Santa Claus in ferret form.
Listen to his description -
 
Bright sparkling ruby eyes chubby rounded little body, complete with jowls,
fat feet and tail, and two little bald spots where his belly rubs the
ground when he walks a joyful attitude
 
When he plays he will lay on his back, round up his back end reach down
with those chubby little paws, his entire little body will wiggle with his
fat little head swinging from side to side, eyes sparkling and smiling and
his mouth wide as if to say "Ho Ho Ho". :-)
 
Yep, I have the Santa Claus ferret. :-)
