As far as I know, Vicki and I are not at odds with each other, at least
not on my end. I have'nt been in contact with her much these past few
months due to the loss of my Husband. Some of my friends and I offered
to re-home 50 of the ferrets, giving them a loving home. We had a
transport working from Houston to here in the Texas Panhandle. But, I
guess that was shot down. Never heard from anyone. I did hear that
someone posted on another board that my offer was probably a lie, but
it wasn't. These babies need to be in homes, and I mean these are GOOD
homes. It could be quite awhile before Vicki is up and running. I
imagine ferret adoptions down there is the last thing on anyone's mind
right now. What with the devastation and destruction Ike caused, I'm
sure people are just trying to get their lives back in order. But, if
anyone has any contact with Vicki, the offer still stands.
