Thank you Thank you all for sending messages to my son Josh's E-mail
regaurding Mikey's upcoming surgery. He was so excited when he got home
and found over 30 messages of well wishes and great stories. As per one
suggestion he is using this time to really streangthen his bond with Mikey
so he is better able to be a part of the recovery process. He is feeding
Mikey duck soup every several hours and doing alot of cuddling time. He
sews and he is hoping to be able to make Mikey a little shirt since he lost
his fur but so far has been unable to come up with a pattern. Joshua is a
very special 16 yr old boy who lost everything he had to depend on in life
very abruptly just a little over a year ago and since we adopted Josh last
April and our ferrets last november they have very much been a part of
Josh's adjustment and recovery and I explained to him that this is his
chance to give back to Mikey and be there for him when he needs him as
Mikey was for him. We have 4 ferrets and Mikey is our dominating male
and becouse of his personality he is Josh's favorite and there is a very
special bond between Josh and Mikey. All the letters that Josh recieved
served as such a blessing and encouragement to him and helped calm his fear
of losing Mikey. A special thank you Jasmine and Tasha your letter really
made him laugh and feel better and a huge hug to April who has put so much
time into teaching us about this and going way out of her way to help out.

Hugs and Dooks to everyone,

Tanya and the whole crew
