To Petra Dueck:

>Quincy has been... ug having intimate relations with a stuffed animal.
>And both Noah and Quincy have been having (I guess I can say it since
>it's a scientific term) erections :0 for long periods at a time. But
>they were both fixed when young!

Petra - there are a couple of possibilities here -

    1) the ferrets were not neutered properly and may have a retained
testicle - do they smell like intact ferrets?
    2) this may be a form of dominance behavior - instinctive, and can
be seen in both intact and neutered ferrets
    3) there amy be adrenal problems, which often causes reproductive
problems and aggressive sexual behavior in neutered males.
