Just a quick note on couches.  I've been reading here a long time and
haven't seen a problem of this type but.... A friend of mine who works in a
furniture store told me that some furniture manufactures used to make
couches etc with rat poison in them.  I don't know if they still do - seems
like they wouldn't I mean a child could eat some if it fell out - but its
something to ask about if buying furniture and something to think about if
your ferret loves playing in the couch.
