From Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary, 27th Edition:

Otitis: "inflammation of the ear, which may be marked by pain, fever,
abnormalities of hearing, hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
and vertigo."

Vertigo: "an illusion of movement; a sensation as if the external world
were revolving around the patient, or as if he himself were revolving in
space. . . Vertigo may result from diseases of the inner ear . . ."

Ataxic (a.k.a. atactic): "lacking coordination"

My vet also said that Frontline was good for ear mites, as well as a bunch
of other insects. Ear mites are almost as difficult to get rid of as fleas
are!! Good luck.
