Does anyone know where I could purchase a scale to weigh my ferrets?

It's been suggested that I simply take them with me to the grocery store
and weigh them in the produce section. This wouldn't work, however, since
they'd probably want to help with the shopping afterwards. (I keep
picturing a cart full of Cheerios and raisins:)

[Moderator's note: American Science & Surplus has a table-top dual-beam
scale which looks almost perfect for weighing small animals. It weighs from
5g to 10kg in 5 gram increments and costs about thirty dollars. See it at:

If you want to spend more and get a digital scale with finer resolution,
I've found http://www.scalenet.com/ has a good selection and OK prices. BIG]
