Tekka died last night in my wife's arms. She will be greatly missed.

Tekka was 6 years old. We obtained her from the Humane Society in Auburn
Hills, Michigan. Tekka had been dropped off there by her previous owners,
maybe they didn't love her anymore, maybe they didn't care enough, but she
needed someone who did. When we first saw Tekka we didn't see a ferret that
was blind or could only walk a few steps at a time without falling down, we
saw a sweet gentle ferret that needed loving home. We gave her that and she
gave us much more.
