Bugz had surgery this morning. We were worried about him because he has
cardimyopathy and last time we took him in for dental work he crashed in
the morning... he didn't want his tooth pulled I guess :-)

Well he went in this morning. Our vet was nice enough to let Shawn sit
in on the surgery. We figured that if we were going to lose him, we
wanted someone there... and Shawn was the lucky guy :-)

His surgery went GREAT!... took 15 minutes. He had 2 teeth removed.
Upper left and bottom right.

But as soon as she finished up he woke up. He even crawled back into his
carrier on his own. And the whole thing only cost $85.00 !! Not bad!

Shawn stopped by the office with Bugz and I got some pictures... here
they are..

He looks wonderful and though groggy, is pretty alert!

We have torb. for pain if we need it. Plus he will stay on antibiotics
for another week to make sure he is ok. We will soften his food and of
course he'll get duck soup :-)

Guess one tooth pretty much just fell out without a problem and the other
one wasn't difficult at all either. So now... Bugz has a broken tail,
missing part of an ear and 2 missing teeth. Guess he could be considered
a real hill-billy now huh?

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and well wishes. They have
worked... and I am so grateful.

Joanne
