From a mail received from the Defenders of Wildlife:
"POMBO MOVING LEGISLATION THAT WOULD CRIPPLE ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT"

Yesterday the influential House Resources Committee voted 26-12 to
advance a bill that would severely undermine the Endangered Species Act.
The legislation, introduced earlier this week by Representative Richard
Pombo (R-CA), would dismantle key protections for wolves, bald eagles
and other endangered wildlife. [Including the BFF]

The full House could vote on this bill as soon as Tuesday. Please send
a message to your Representative right now urging him or her to vote
against the Pombo bill.
