I have an appointment next week to take my ferret to the vet for a
routine exam, but in the meantime I just wondered if any of you have
had experience with ferrets' nails being brownish instead of white
and soft when I clip them, almost like the nail is dead.

I first noticed this with her several weeks ago and it was only one
nail on her hind foot. Now several nails on her one back foot are this
way.

I tried finding info on the FHL Archives, but was unable to. Your help
as always is much appreciated.

Liz
