Hi Everyone,

The International Ferret Congress is pleased to announce that plans for
our symposium in Pittsburgh are moving forward nicely. Registration
forms are now available on our website at http://ferretcongress.org

Many speakers and topics are confirmed. These include Dr. Joerg Mayer,
Chemotherapy Protocols in Ferrets; Dr. William Tyrrell, Cardiology
Issues in Ferrets; Dr. Ruth Heller, presenting on distemper and her
vaccine titer study; Dr. Lauren Powers discussing knowing when to say
'when' and the importance of necropsies...more to come... There will
be a question and answer session following the vet presentations on
Saturday. In addition, Dr. Robert Wagner will host a break-out session
on Pre-and Post-Natal Medical Issues in Ferrets. Everyone is welcome
to attend.

Ailigh Vanderbush will speak on ferret socialization, Barb Carlson
will present on the care of sick ferrets at home, David Gaines on
legislative issues and Jeanne Carley - who needs no introduction -
will have a new and wonderful photo presentation for us.

This year, we will be presenting "The Funniest Ferret Videos" starring
your ferret doing something funny, crazy or just plain lovable.

Table Topics at Saturday's lunch provide an opportunity for you to
discuss selected topics with others. We have exciting vendors and
wonderful raffles planned. And, in addition to our Celebrity Auction,
we will have more surprises on Saturday night, including the funny
and new Ferret Bingo!

The price of admission for 3 days is $185 and includes all sessions, 3
breakfasts, 2 buffet lunches and an optional Friday night dinner for an
additional $40. A one day admission for vet day only, Saturday, is $90.
RACE credits will be offered, as usual.

We hope to see you all in Pittsburgh in November for one of the biggest
and best symposia yet!

Francine
