Blood in the ruine does imply a bacterial infection in female ferrets, unless
she is intact.  Were there any more abnormalities on the urinalysis?  Was
blood taken for examination.
 
I agree with the antibiotic therapy.  Far too often urinary tract infections
go untreated and you end up with a raging kidney infection which may be
life-threatening.  I would stick with the antibiotics for at least a week and
then re-revaluate.  I don't think that ultrasound is indicated now.
