Has anyone determined how long the ECE virus can survive outside of a host?
My context is for items/places/etc. that can't be disinfected after
exposure.

At the risk of reviving an old debate: has there been any conclusive data
concerning how long an ECE positive ferret can potentially be infectious?
or more importantly - is there a well defined time period after which an
ECE ferret can no longer pass on the virus?

Thanks for any updates,
Cheryl and The Wrecking Crew
