I can design a quick web-based voting form and collect the votes--I have no
problem doing that.  First, though, I need to know exactly who our nominees
are--there have been quite a few names tossed around, and I don't want to
miss any.  So I'll just design a form that will allow folks to submit
nominations, leave it up until, er, how about Monday?  That's a few days.
Then I'll open the polls.  And if anyone doesn't have web access or can't
make the form work, they can simply email me their vote.  Rather than
fiddling with fancy code, we'll simply use an honor system--please only vote
once.  It'll be an anonymous ballot, of course.
 
Sound good to everyone?  I'll go code the nomination form.  The web address

My current list of nominees includes BIG, Skeeter, Bob Church, Troy Lynn
Eckart (sp?), Sam (last name here?).  I'll make sure there's room for
commentary.  By the time this message is published in the FML, the
nominations form should be open.  I don't want to open the voting until we
have all the nominees.
