the poem of kodo's version will break the heart of anyone whose fuzzy has
been in the hands of the law. ferret people cannot fail to sorrow for kodo
and rage against an unfeeling establishment. i cried when i read sam's poem
that was 18 hours ago and i still can't bring myself to read the poem to my
husband. ten years ago my fuzzy was captured by the san francisco "humane
society". that story eventually had a happy ending (freddy was pried from
that custody). i guess that all of us understand what is in the heart of a
ferret. thanx - sam - you speak for that tender heart. i only hope that we
are able to move those who hold kodo hostage to find in their empty chests
some remaining decency and free our kodo.
