Hi there!
Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me- bought a ferret with the works,
including the silly litter pan (it made sense in the store...) Anyway, I'm
not one to waste things so I found a good use for it.  I hung mine up about
3 or 4 inches above the cage floor, firmly wedged into a corner with the
little plastic hooks grabbing the wire of the cage.  My ferrets love it!
It's like a second bedroom, Now the don't have to pile up on the
hammock...they can sttttttrettttttch out!  Try for yourself!
