I've been reading FML for a while, but haven't needed to post until now.
I need to get a message to Sandee and ask a favor.

Our Little Orphan Annie crossed to The Bridge today.

Annie had been declining and several times when she was breaking my heart
I made the appointment to take her to the vet. Each and every time she
rallied and the appointment was cancelled. I finally got it through my
thick head she was trying to tell me to let her pick her own time. I told
her I finally understood and I would do everything to make her comfortable.
It truly seemed that was when she started to let go and make prepartions
to go to The Bridge.

The RatPack, her Daddy and I wanted her to move to Virginia with us. As
moving day drew closer I knew Annie was choosing to stay here with Coco.
They were bestest friends. This evening we put her earthly body in the
garden, next to CocoBitch, with a matching stone. I like thinking of the
two of them together and knowing we won't be leaving Coco here alone.
One last time Annie was our little ferret mother.

Annie was returned to a pet shop in our hometown by a college girl who had
been caught with her in her dorm room. The girl had named her Annie so, of
course, she became our Little Orphan Annie. The pet shop called to ask me
if I would like to have her since she was full grown and would be tough to
sell. Smart move. When we went to pick her up they had her with Coco, the
cutest little baby. We took Annie and couldn't leave the little one, so
coughed up the money for Coco. What a pair they turned out to be - the
bitch and the dim bulb! I frequently asked Annie if she had smoked too
much dope when she was in college. She wouldn't tell. Sandee, see if
you can get her to 'fess up to you, did she inhale?

Annie was always our dim bulb, never quite knew what was going on,
definitely couldn't keep up. The Pack would race by her, usually knocking
her on her butt. she would take a few excited hops in their direction and
they would fly by going the other way, dumping her over again. She would
stand there confused, excitedly hop in the new direction only to have them
zoom by again. Finally she'd just dance in her little spot knowing (maybe)
they would come by soon - and knock her down again. She loved being part
of the game. She may have been a dim bulb, but she was a lovey. Remind
CocoBitch and Princess to wait up for Annie, they may have gotten out of
the habit.

Annie was my little domestic goddess, built like a pear. I always thought
of her as a dowdy little woman, mousy hair, with a bib apron. She loved
to wash dishes with me. She'd stand at my feet at the sink waiting to be
noticed. I always pretended I didn't see her. She always sidled up to
me - and bit me on the arch of the foot to be picked up. I never washed
dishes without her 'till the past couple of weeks.

Sandee, be sure to let Annie behind the scenes into the kitchen. She will
probably enjoy washing dishes from the fruit bar.

Oh, the little black dog with Princess and CocoB meeting Annie is our
Reebok and ferret friendly. I know Annie will enjoy curling up in his
tail again for her nap. I'm sure CocoBitch will pull some fast ones on
her showing her around.

It's raining like all get out here. Happy tears of reunion I'm sure. Is
that thunder or you brats tearing things up already?!

Ferret kisses and hugs to you, Little Orphan Annie from Snorkel, Manny,
NoMaas, Boo and BrunoWishboneGump...
