A tip that was passed along to me to keep fuzzies cool in the warm
weather is to fill a water bottle (Dasani, etc.) 3/4 full of water,
freeze, and then put it in their cage under a towel.  They cuddle up next
to it when they get too warm....like a little air conditioner for their
cage.  You could freeze the bottles in a cooler during a power outage.
 
I live in Washington State, where the temps are very mild (summers are
between 65-80 usually.  Occasionally, there is a surge of heat into the
90's....but very few people have AC here because it's not worth it for
the 14-20 days a year it gets a little uncomfortable.
 
Hopefully everyone has power back by now, but if not, hope you can use
the tip...
