Hello, everybody,

If you've been writing to me lately you know my Buddy has not been
eating. Along with other symptoms, i was led to believe he had
insulinoma (at first I thought it was due to the stress of Holly being
sick). I took him in today for blood work, no insulinoma, it's worse,
he had masses. at least 2. We all know what "masses"means and i'm not
completely stupid. We also know how many times a ferret has had surgery
to see how bad things are, only to be sewn up again becausse the cancer
is everywhere.

Buddy is THE sweetest, most loving,kindest, smartest ferrret i've ever
had, He can sit up pretty, and roll over. He is only 5, well he will
be in 2 weeks.

I was seriously considering getting a new friend for Buddy and Ruby.
I knew i'd have my hands full becasue Ruby would probably beat up on
her.(I already had her picked out in my heart(hadn't met her yet) from
a group of 9 Debbie Whorley got in very recently.Now, i am so unsure.
Will it be too much stress on Buddy??. Usually he loves any other
ferret. I will be taking care of Buddy and that's really all i want to
do, but Buddy will be asleep most of the time in the first days home
after the surgery and Ruby will be all alone. I don't know if i should
do this now or wait until Buddy recovers. Would a new friend help him
feel better? I'm sure Buddy won't have too long to live after this
surgery, (I'm just trying to ready myself for the news) I will only
have one ferret. That's like giving one bananna to King Kong. Even
with Buddy here and having Buddy and Ruby, i feel that 2 is just not
a family for me. I NEED a third. I'm so torn, i don't know what to do.
Buddy needs me right now, all of me.

honestly don't know what I would do without you there to catch my
venting.

BIG prayers for my so beloved Buddy Pyron( I call him Buddy Pyron! and
Bud bud, and swweetie Bud)PLEASE.
